Jacques du Preez

Based in Europe and spending time as required in Silicon Valley, Jacques is the Chief Operating Officer of Pond Venture Partners Ltd. Jacques joined Pond after building his company (ABS) which specialised in providing outsourced back office services to Entrepreneurs, Venture and Corporate Venture Funds and Overseas Investors moving into Europe. Jacques' clients included Unilever Ventures and a number of their direct investments, Power Engineering and Psephos. Prior to ABS, Jacques worked in a number of areas within Accenture including Business Process Outsourcing, Finance, Financial Services Strategy and The London Business Launch Centre which worked with Entrepreneurs and Corporate Venture funds to start up and build new businesses.

Born in South Africa, Jacques completed his articles with Deloitte's and worked for the Private Sector Joint Education Trust, before moving to the UK with Accenture in 1997. Jacques is a Chartered Accountant [CA(SA) & ACA], MBA (London Business School) and Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA).
