Track Record of Success

When the founding team of Transitive wanted to spin out of Manchester University, they had brilliant technology but no business plan. Pond liked the technology and invested. Pond helped put both plan and team together. Today, Transitive counts six of the world's top 10 computer OEMs as customers, including Apple Computer.

When Microcosm Communications sought venture funding, they could not find VCs who understood their story. Pond invested when there were only four people in the company. Two years later, with all top tier customers signed up and revenues soaring, Microcosm was acquired by Conexant for $200M.
